Why You Should Be Mindful of Adding Your Job Referees
Family isn’t always blood, and people you thought you know are something else.
One can prepare so much for a job interview : highly skilled, verbally endowed, eagle confidence and certificate wherewithal, still will not get the job. Surprise?
With these above mentioned, you can go into that interview room and still be told the usual deceptive truth “we will get back to you” and most times, they don’t ever do.
Did you know that who you adopt in curriculum vitae’s column as reference/referees can be the “village people” dashing your efforts to the rocks?
I know you will doubt me, but let’s try this out. Get a new sim card, pretend to be a job owner and call that person(s) you have always used as your referee inquiring on your abilities for the proposed job and hear wonders. But before you try this, make sure you have a clean white towel and a basin for your tears.
A professional resume /CV, will not have any name deposited in the column, except people who have proved and tested your competence. If you are still in doubt of the people to fill in that column, this is the new brilliant idea to adopt.
