To The Days I Really Do Miss
The childhood times in Nigeria grownups now flashback to. . .
I Miss those days when we went to school, lined up then the headmistress and teachers inspect our nails and uniform, then we match to our classrooms.
You remember?
The days of NASCO biscuit, Okin biscuit, Trebor, Iced Colored water tied in nylon we called it "lolly". The days of Goody-Goody and Pako Biscuit.
The days of Ali and Simbi, Mr Salami and Mrs Salami, Agbo lives in Calabar, and Edet is a boy. Oh, I remember those days when one naira was a valuable piece of money, when groundnut was five Kobo (5Kb) and Choco Milo candy was Five Kobo.
The days of messing game, who is in the garden, police and the thief. The days when we used to build houses and castles with sand, play Suwe game, Tinco Tinco, Change Your Style, Ten Ten, Skipping, Stop! If you are aged, you should definitely remember these moments!
Those days when we used to fly kites on streets, when boys used to use the paint bucket cover as tire and their father’s hanger as the steering. Those days when rubber band was stock exchange. The days when Votron, Jimbo, Power Rangers, Spider Man were our favorite Cartoons.
