Dear Youngsters,

Look at all the successful millionaires and billionaires today… What do they all have in common?

Society champions the importance of things like grit, tenacity, and bravery in achieving professional success.

But in reality, the skill and characteristic that contributes the most to success in all aspects of life is communication. The ability to articulate clear expectations and truly understand what motivates your customers and colleagues — that’s what will set you apart from the rest.

It’s the skill that will most directly translate to more referrals, more sales, more cohesion, and more focus among your teams. It’s the skill that will take you to that next level.

Why, exactly? Well, for one thing, like oxygen, every business relies on selling and marketing to survive. Without it, your company will die on the vine.

But, maybe even more importantly, sound communication habits improve and enhance your personal relationships.
